I'm Chef Billy Day, the chef behind Recipe Box Chef, a private dining and catering experience rooted in connection, creativity, and comfort. After years of traveling the world as a flight attendant, I discovered how powerful food can be in bringing people together across cultures and communities. That passion led me to pursue formal training in culinary arts and hospitality at Salt Lake Community College, where I developed my approach to elevated, comfort-driven cuisine. What began as cooking for friends and intimate gatherings has grown into a business focused on creating memorable, shared dining experiences. Yes! Chef Billy serves clients across Salt Lake County, Utah County, Weber County, Park City, Moab, St. George, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, and beyond. Travel beyond 75 miles may include an additional fee. If you have a special event or destination in mind, just reach out and we will make it work.
We recommend booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance to allow time for menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and preparation. For larger events or peak holiday dates, booking earlier is always better to secure your date.
